Design that connects network, service, and communication in the automotive sector.
Managing visual identity for large distribution and automotive service networks requires a modular and highly scalable graphic approach. When a business group unites hundreds of workshops and associates across different countries, visual communication ceases to be a mere aesthetic accessory: it becomes the operational infrastructure that guarantees customer trust and the fluidity of the B2B channel. The critical challenge for marketing directors lies in maintaining absolute brand consistency while providing each local point of sale with clear, attractive, and effective commercial tools.
We took on the development of corporate image and communication materials for Aser Automotive, a benchmark group that coordinates an extensive network of associates and points of sale in Spain and Portugal through its strategic brands: Star and Tecnotaller.
The main challenge of the project was to design a solid visual identity and a coherent graphic system capable of adapting to different audiences, channels, and business needs. By unifying the visual communication codes of both networks, we facilitated a clean transition between the group's corporate language, the daily activity of mechanical workshops, and the end customer's perception of quality.
To boost commercial traction within the demanding automotive spare parts market, we handled the comprehensive design of corporate catalogs, advertising media, and promotional elements for the point of sale.
In technical retail, catalogs and promotional brochures act as constant reference tools. We structured the technical information with a strong focus on clarity of the offering and service visibility, reducing management times and optimizing communication throughout the value chain. The result is a scalable graphic ecosystem that provides valuable operational peace of mind to the marketing and purchasing departments of the central network.
Sector: Automotive spare parts, mechanical workshop networks, and B2B distribution.
The challenge: To design a unified and adaptable visual system for two distinct brands (Star and Tecnotaller) operating in the high-volume Iberian market.
Solution executed: Graphic engineering and modular editorial production aimed at maximizing service clarity and ensuring brand consistency across multiple media.
| Advertising asset developed | Target and commercial channel | Technical production criteria |
| Corporate identity and manuals | Star and Tecnotaller associate network in Spain and Portugal | Flexibility of application on facades, stationery, and corporate uniforms |
| Technical product catalogs | Spare parts sector professionals and mechanical workshops | Clean layout based on ordered grids for quick reference location |
| POS advertising media | Customer service areas and workshop receptions | Structural optimization for physical signage with high-conversion visual language |
It is achieved by defining a clear brand architecture. The design of the master visual identity must establish common typographic and chromatic ground rules. In this way, both Star and Tecnotaller operate with their own personalities adapted to their specific audiences, but under a unified graphic system that leverages economies of scale in material production and maintains the corporate coherence of the Aser group.
Because a design that works on a digital banner may fail when printed on a large-format poster for a physical workshop or in a catalog with hundreds of pages. Developing graphic solutions focused on scalability means structuring master files with the diversity of an international network's media in mind, ensuring that any adaptation is fast, cost-effective, and free of prepress errors.
